MEMOIR WRITING GROUP

Bobbi Smisko, an experienced writer, is convening a group of people at the church who are interested in writing personal memoirs.

The group began on November 16th and will continue meeting on the third Monday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm to practice our writing skills, to share our writing experiences, and to encourage each other as we write our personal stories.

Facilitator: Bobbi Smisko

Please RSVP so Bobbi knows how many will be coming.  Bring paper and pen, and feel free to bring your beverage of choice.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

380

10:45 Sunday Morning. All are welcome to join these lively 45 minute discussion and study groups following our morning worship service.

We use this time for Bible study as well as for special activities, like enjoying rich Eritrean coffee, courtesy of Maeza Mengistu (see picture on the right).  We have also had congregational conversations about worship and ways to deepen our relationships as members of this body of Christ.

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

The focus of the youth class is to set our sights on what it means to be in a relationship with God. The center of this relationship is Jesus Christ.  We follow the sermon series but have our own discussions. We also share the highs and lows of our week and pray for each other. Through it all, the goal is to bring relevance to who God is and what God wants from us.

PRE-SCHOOL & ELEMENTARY SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

Starting at the pre-school level, our children’s classes provide Bible stories and related material appropriate for each age group. The curriculum material is developed and taught by experienced and qualified teachers.
